愚蠢

在马来西亚的报纸上（光明日报和中国报）经常会看到有人轻生的新闻。有一些原因会叫人悲痛，有一些原因会叫人不值，也有一些原因叫人发指。因为女朋友或男朋友抛弃，因为欠了大耳窿一笔巨款，因为病痛，因为赌博，因为学业失败，因为生意失败，因为失业，因为家人朋友的不谅解，因为受到令人难以想象的羞辱，等等。什么原因都有。但是，我相信，没有人会说轻身就是其中一个解决方法。我们没有权利去夺取另一个人包括自己的生命。是的，离开人世后，可以不用去理会所有尘世上的事情了。但是，家人朋友却偏偏必须面对他或她离去所遗留下来的种种悲伤，那是多么自私无耻的行为。会有人会告诉我，好像那些病痛无药可救的人，其实，轻生是对他或她家人朋友的一种解脱。不管是什么理由，坦白说，没有到最后一分钟，我是觉得没有放弃的理由。这是对自己的一种责任，更是对关心爱你的人的一种回报。

今天，看到这一则报道， 不免不叫人心碎。贫穷，加上病痛，加上老师同学的不理解，造成了这一个悲剧。那一个老师实在不是老师，更不是人！我们学校都会有这一种只把教育当成是工作而已的人。我一直认为有两种职业我是觉得最神圣的，一是护士（曾经住院时，看见护士对病人的无微不至），再来是老师。偏偏就会有这一群扑街。老师啊，你们应该也把自己的责任看得重一点。

Always on some Malaysian Chinese newspaper read some news about people committing suicide due to various reasons, some are really upsetting, some are truly heart-breaking, some are totally stupid, and some are really making people angry. For instance, break-up with boy/girl friend, owe a loan-shark a huge amount of money, sickness, gambling, failure in studies or career, cannot gain understanding from family and friends, facing unbearable embarrassment or humiliation, etc. However, I truly believe that killing one-self is certainly not one of the solutions. In fact, we do not have any rights to take any life, including ourselves. But, some people would say for those who are so ill that there are no medical cure, finishing themselves is actually a release for their family and friends. Seriously, no matter what the reason is (even though I wouldn't understand that kind of feeling), not until the last second, there is no reason to give up just yet. This is a responsibility to our own selves, and also to the people who love us.

Today I saw a news from China Press, which is really heart-breaking. The 11-year old kid who killed himself was not only facing some incurable illness, but also facing humiliation from his classmates and worse his teacher! Seriously, that teacher is certainly someone that I really like to hit! As a teacher, he or she shouldn't only treat education as only a job. They should treat their jobs with more respect and responsibility! I always think nurse and teacher are the two most beautiful and magnificent occupations in the world. But, due these bastards and bitches, our education system is certainly failing. Seriously!
