生命短暂，生活不平。

生命实在太短暂了。晓慧的一句话：“时间是自己找的”，实在意义深长。很多时候，我们都会把“没有时间”这一个原因挂在嘴边而失去了很多宝贵的时间。但是，自工作以后，总觉得下班后想要去做一些有意义的事情（譬如学日语，看一些很technical的书籍等）都回一点力不从心的感觉。是累了？是懒了？或许是后者吧。我很佩服那一些活到老学到老的朋友，譬如裔纬，他们那一种对时间的利用，是我望尘莫及的！
Life is too short. Shiau Hwee said once, "free time is up to us to find", it is full of meaning. Most of the time, we like to use "I don't have free time" as an excuse, which costs us a lot of useful time. However, ever since I start working, I always feel a bit too much to do some meaningful stuff, like learning Japanese, etc. Is it because I am tired, or because I am just plain lazy? I guess, I am the latter. I always admire those who could really use their free time for something very meaningful, for instance to learn to read, like my friend Yee Wei.

生活实在太多不平了。嘉慧说过：“还有很多人比我们不幸的”，实在简单却千真万确的。有时候，我们的心里会有一点不平衡，看着自己的薪金无论多努力都会比其他人少。路上走着，又会看到一些每一天都为三餐而烦恼的人，奢侈的希望能讨到一点钱买一个面包充肚。你我都是人，何以大家的待遇却天渊之别。是罪？是孽？还是没有原因？宗教尝试给我们一点启蒙，偏偏还是无法完完全全的消除人对不平的事，那一点的不平衡心理。知足常乐啊！
Life is full of unfairness. Kathryn once told me, "there are a lot of people that are less lucky than us", which is certainly a fact. Sometimes, we will feel a bit upset why we work hard yet what we earn is much less than other people. And, then, walking on the street, we see some people trying to beg for some small money for bread, just to fill their stomach on that day. We are the same species, but why is it our lives are so much different. Is it sin or just no reason? Religion attempts to give us some answer, but somehow it just can't completely eliminate our feelings towards unfairness. Always feel happy for what we have...
