I always want to learn Japanese, even though my motivation is a bit weird (yeah, I just want to play some nice Japanese games). Before I came to Shanghai, I told Freddie that I have a number of things I want to do in Shanghai, one of them is learn Japanese. But, been here for almost half year now, I still haven't really made up my mind to enroll myself in some kind of Japanese learning course. Of course the main reason is that I am just too lazy to move my butt (and another main reason is that it is quite expensive). Working during weekdays, and in the weekends, just too lazy to do anything. The only things I really want to do is stay home, watch some The Closer, Burn Notice, Monk, Psych, Damages, etc., or play some Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology, Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of Lion, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, etc., or just read some books (which by the way I lack some good materials nowadays -- miss Netherlands a bit for its easy access to some good English fictions). Lately, there have been some very good Japanese games, so I have finally decided to go to Shanghai Bookstore opposite Cloud Nine Mall (at Zhongshan Park) to buy this learning-Japanese book. I do hope finally I have the will to do it. At least finish one of the items in the plan.
