梦魇

最近可能工作的关系，梦里出现的都是工作上的伙伴老板。我们办公室里有一个人。他这一个人有时候心情反复无常，固执，甚至于有时候会很不理智的对人不对事。因为一个project的关系（知道的朋友都明白我说什么）必须要和他打交道。跟他开过几次的会，都给他骂得狗血淋头。说实在，每一次开会的时候我都是旁听（因为我不是PL），只有一些时候，需要出口时才出口。有一两次因为实在忍受不了他那一种不让人有机会说话的态度，我反顶了几下（其实，以前的我哪会是这样的呢？），而且反顶的都是有道理的（说实在，我还是挺proud of myself的）。但是，他真的是一个对人（不是我）不对事，所以都会让他反骂几嘴。我想这也是一种对自己的一种训练，虽然被人骂不好受，但是还是学了一些东西，比如如何有效地让不想听得人停下来听你说。因为这一个project，他还搞到要某一个人去开除某一个人（朋友都知道我说的是谁），实在是太不理智了！好了，梦里曾经和他谈判project的问题。天，我竟然能记得说过什么，而且梦里都说英文！另外一个是我们的新人。他人不错，但是可能我们还没有完全适应他的关系，所以有一些在讨论project的时候，会有一些不认同的地方。他要的是tangible的东西（譬如说什么DAP或CE的products），要的是seeable （from my point of view "short term") results，而恰恰很多research的projects是不可能在短期内有任何results的。所以，因为同样一个project（sudah dibunuh kerana beberapa orang di tahap atas!)他不断地challenge我们，需要一些tangible的东西，而很不幸的是这一个project所作的东西都很technical的。所以，梦里也见过他，尝试说服他。这真是日有所思夜有所梦！

Lately because of work, I always saw some people from work in my dreams. There is a guy, due to some work-related issue (which I believe some of my friends know what I am talking about), we have had several discussions. And everytime we were scolded like sxxx by him. Most of the time I was only there to listen (because I was not the PL) but sometimes I just couldn't stand his attitude of not allowing other people talk. So, I talked back (honestly, I wasn't like that before). However, that only made him scold more. Basically, he is a very passionate person, which sometimes made him a bit irrational. He even asked another person to fire another person (whom I believe some of my friends know). Even though being scolded is not a good feeling, but I guess it could be a good training. At least sometimes I think I know how to stop one from talking and just listen. So, I saw him one or two times in my dream talking about the project (which is killed by the way) and trying to convince him to un-kill it! Another person is also new. And, since he is new so sometimes we need to really adapt to his way of working. He always wants tangible things and results out of the project, like a product for DAP or CE. Unfortunately, most research projects don't have this type of so-soon-foreseeable results. He keeps challenge this already-killed project. So, one time, in the dream I guess I also try to convince him that the project really worths the resource...
