I am back. Even though reluctant to come back, but still I have to come back. The last week I discovered two good things, one is song, the other one is book. I never really paid much attention to his songs. Zhang Zhen Yue (I am not sure his English name actually)'s latest album "OK". The songs in the album are not those that could make you feel "wow" or "my goodness". They are very relaxing, peaceful, slow and smooth. For me, they are like tasting a good cup of tea looking at the sea with some small tides. There are no magnificent (aka Jay Chow's style) music packaging, but maybe that's the reason it makes the whole album special. 《思念是一种病》is certainly my favorite without any doubt.
I suddenly have the urge to learn more about economy (perhaps just an impulsive curiosity). Before I came back here, I bought this book "Freakonomics", written by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner (I believe both of them are prominent economists). After reading 10+ pages, I realized I have bought the right non-fictional book. It doesn't really talk much about those "boring" economist crap. It instead talks about stuff that really happens in our daily lives, answering questions that seem to have a right answers (i.e., consensus) but actually wrong. The whole book is based on the following ideas: (1) Incentives are the cornerstone of modern life, (2) The conventional wisdom is often wrong, (3) dramatic effects often have distant, even subtle causes, (4) "experts" use their informational advantage to serve their own agenda, and (5) knowing what to measure and how to measure it makes a complicated world much less so. I must say after a while not reading anything, this is certainly one book that could catch my attention!

Yup... this book is quite nice. I read and intro to Chloe, but don't think she has the time to read it. Another one about economics is "The undercover economist". You can try conspiracy theory economic book "Confession of an economic hit man" by John Perkins.
Try read books by Paulo Coelho also. I personally think his books are very good read. And really openned my eyes to alot of life issues (faith/culture etc). I finished all of his books once that was transalated to English.
