无家可归吗？

今年中国雪灾造成很多人有家归不得，滞留在广州等地。这一些人，还是拼命的想办法回家。不为什么，只为能在一年一次与家人同聚。而我呢？就“决定”留在上海。不为什么，只因为机票实在是贵。想到可以选平时没有这么贵的时候回去。是的，我浪费了几天的假期。一千元换几天假，我想各人不同看法吧。坦白说，华人新年对我来说也没有什么重大的意义。老啦。回到家还得面对一些亲戚的“慰问”。说我逃避也好，我就希望能在安静的情况下与家人朋友见面。等闲人，能少见就少见。家家有本难念的经啊！现在，由于居留证就在3月过期，passport就在7月过期，房子的contract也在2月尾到期（续约与否还是一个未知数），很多事情必须在one line ahead上完成--先renew passport，然后renew 居留证，同时间谈妥房子的contract--譬如说，加租吗？继续住吗？要找房子了等等的吗？可以在上海renew passport，但是必须有身份证。可笑的是，身份证好像是留在Malaysia。最坏的打算嘛，就是叫家人把身份证寄过来。回家太贵了，我真恨自己不是什么有钱人。

The beginning of this new year, China has been suffering from rare snowy disaster. Thousands of people were forced to stay in Guangzhou and couldn't make it home for Chinese New Year. Yet, they are still trying their best to make it because it seems to be the only chance in one year they could spend time with their families. As for me? I have chosen to stay in Shanghai mainly because I "cannot" (or choose not to) afford the expensive flight ticket. To be honest, Chinese New Year means less to me nowadays. Probably because I am just too old for that. In fact, I don't like my relatives' "concerns" of my life. So, you can say I am trying to avoid that. I just like to spend time with my family and friends without all these "concerns". Anyway. there are a lot of things to handle in the coming weeks. First, my residence permit expires in March, then my passport expires in July, at the same time, my housing contract expires in end of this month. So, I have to handle this in order -- first passport (need a 6-month valid passport to renew the permit), then the permit, in parallel the contract -- rent or not depends on if the landlord going to increase the rent, if so I have to look for another place which will be totally annoying. Yeah, I could renew my passport here, but the prerequisite is that I need my ID card. Ironically, my ID card seems to have been left in Malaysia. Well, the worst case I ask my family to send me the card. Going home is just too expensive, and I hate myself for not being a rich person or something.
