周周略评

华人新年也没有什么可以做的，除了赌吃喝之外，就是看贺岁片。今年就有两部中文贺岁片，这么巧，两位在影片中的主角都是姓周。星爷的《长江7号》和周董的《功夫灌篮》。就让我来评评吧。要比较的话，我会说星爷略胜一筹，周董的灌篮太令人想起星爷的《少林足球》，而且情节乱糟糟，搞笑也不好笑，搞情绪也没什么情绪，搞特技也不会令人眼前一亮。说实在，要不是一班老戏子例如曾志伟，吴孟达，梁家仁，吴宗宪等等，这一套电影的唯一卖点就是所谓的帅哥在耍帅--超闷的电影一套。其实，只要不要太执着，我还是让这一套电影entertain我的。反正是贺岁片，开开心心呼呼闹闹就好了。所以，也就算了。讲回星爷的CJ7打得是父子情牌。而且也贯彻了他以往几套的电影哪一种模式--穷人的际遇，但不同的是，这一次这一个穷人并没有变成英雄。而且，星爷在这一套电影里都让其他演员发挥，自己反而成为配角。当然，还有那一只CG玩具狗“长江7号”的精彩“演出”。值得一说的是里头演星爷儿子反串的徐娇简直是演得像是个迷你周星驰。总的来说，这一套电影是交足货，有笑有泪，绝对是我本人推荐的一套（也是唯一一套）的贺岁片。

Chinese New Year for adults are normally boring and nothing much to do, except eat, gamble, drink and of course watch some movies. This CNY, there are two movies that attract our attention. Coincidentally, the main actors in these two movies share the same surname -- Chow. One is Stephen Chow's "CJ7", and the other one is Jay Chow's "Kung Fu Dunk". If you want me to compare, I would say "CJ7" is much much better than "Dunk". The storyline of "Dunk" is messy and nonsense; the acting really sucks; not humorous and not even emotional; the CG not really impressive, and moreover, it just reminded me of Stephen's "Shaolin Soccer", which is so much better. Honestly, if the movie does not have some experienced, old actors and actresses, it is just a movie of couple of so-called handsome guys acting cool (which is stupid). However, since it is a movie in CNY, so, I just let it entertain me. Let's talk about "CJ7" then. Well, this time Stephen has used the same "template" he has been using since "Shaolin Soccer" (or before) -- story about a poor man. However, this time it is slight different because this poor man didn't turn out to be a hero at the ending. In fact, he let other actors and actresses in the movie to be the main selling points, and he is only there as a supporting actor. Of course the main "actor" is that CG toy dog "CJ7". Overall, the movie is very good -- well acting (the actress who was acting as Stephen's son in the movie was impressive -- she is like a mini Stephen), story well-told, CG pretty impressive (the dog's expression certainly has brought out a lot of laughters from the audience), moreover, at the end it could certainly make you cry.
