Do I hate Malaysia?

A very good friend asked me if I really hate Malaysia because somehow I have never mentioned one good thing about Malaysia to him. As a matter of fact, as a foreigner, he seems to like Malaysia more than I do. I mean he always tells me how good the food is, how interesting the shopping malls are, etc. Bear in mind though, he even though a foreigner, but he is still a Chinese, and has stayed in Kuala Lumpur for years. Somehow, I feel very embarrassed. I guess, deep down I really dislike Malaysia. I haven't stayed in Malaysia for almost 12 years now (discarding all those short holidays). Even though I still feel very comfortable when I am in KL, but it is different, cause I am not really familiar with most places in KL now. Even my foreign Chinese friends is more familiar than me...

Yeah. I understand.
Me too, not living in Malaysia for over 13 years. Not knowing anything, and can't drive and don't how to take LRT etc. And I hate all the politicians there !!!!
Yet, I don't hate Malaysia, my family, my good friends are there. That's why, I still love Malaysia.

I agree with you, Shir and Jay.

Though we are 2nd citizen when we live as Permanent Resident in other countries, it is no much worse than being a citizen at Malaysia in term of the basic right/benefit. As a locally born Malaysian, we have been treated as 2nd citizen.

My only concern hestitating me to move is Better Future or My Dear Parents and Friends.
