Money... is always the problem... especially for my situation nowadays. I don't have high-pay job (for some maybe it looks that way), and I haven't really worked for ages (if discarded the "working period" of PhD, probably I have only like less than 4 years of working experience), and I am not really holding a managerial position. So, you could imagine... my money problem. It is really... disappointing and depressing sometimes when I look at how much I have saved (NOTE it is SAVE, not EARN).

and i've worked for like 8 years and now kind of managerial position, but due to the low pay in malaysian market and the ever increasing living standard, i don't save and earn much too!!!
You should get out of Shanghai if the current situation persist.
I don't know about you. In the City of Opportunity like Shanghai, people tends to change jobs and look for better pay and company.
If you are a contented, Shanghai is not your cup of tea. Try the European Countries then, where professionals are highly paid. Even Singapore is not bad.
If you are going to stay on that job forever, you might see people who are not that capable leaves for better jobs elsewhere, as Philips is a brand name and looks very good on resume?
Stop whinning and start acting!!
