Yes, after 5 years, the old Samsung TV must be replaced with a new one -- it is not only old, but also not working well anymore. So we went to One Utama to hunt for a new TV two nights ago. After visiting Best Denki, we have made almost-instant decision (actually we left the store, and had dinner, and after almost 2 hours we made the definite decision) that we are going to buy this Philips Full-HD 42" LCD TV. I don't want to mention the price here cause it will reveal too much information, just to tell you it is a so-called offer price.


Anyway, the TV supports 1080p full-HD and that certainly has captured my attention. Not because its price is quite reasonable, also it is Philips. I guess the quality of Philips TV is quite acceptable so far. It has HDMI socket, yet I don't have a chance to test its full-HD feature yet, because I don't have a PS3 nor a Blu-ray player. I guess it will have to wait. Anyway, it fits quite well in the living room...
