Last weekend...

I was hoping to find a book that I wanted to buy, namely "Escape from Cubicle Nation". So I went to my favorite bookstore Swindon Bookstore on last Saturday. Sadly, they didn't have the book, and gladly I saved myself couple hundreds of HKD. I think I have plenty other books that I need to finish before getting a new one. Then, decided to go to another lunch favorite place of mine Backenheim Cafe & Bakery for a 68 HKD beef steak set lunch (bread, soup and drink). Considering the amount of the food and its tastiness, I must say it is quite reasonable.

On Sunday, after gym I have to go to IKEA to check out for some bedsheets, pillows, and stuff to prepare for my family and relatives visit. Yet, those stuff are just too freaking expensive in IKEA. So I didn't get anything useful and left in vein. The good stuff I got was the hot dog with Cola light for 10 HKD in IKEA. That reminds me of the nice curry puff in IKEA of Malaysia. Then, due to some problems of my eyes (don't know any reasons my eyesight is kind of blurry sometimes), I went to get a pair of new specs in Optical 88. I must say, "damn, the specs are expensive here." So I just got the cheapest specs I could get from this shop. And the optician told me there my eyes were suffering from minor inflammation. Probably that's why my eyesight was blurry. Damn, what a waste of money, and sure, I have had my old specs for 3 years now, but still usable.

Some good eye drops will help whenever you find your vision blurry. My optometrist (not optician) recommends RefreshPlus. Quite dear but effective.
