Ever since Apple's iPhone met the world, a lot of buzz has been generated. With approximately USD600 (2-year subscription to the AT&T phone service), you could own this stylish phone. However, USD600 is still a bit too pricey (for me at least, considering the PS3 costs more or less the same price). So, no way I am going to get this phone. As a matter of fact, there is no news if or when this iPhone is going to be pushed into the outside-US market.

China is good at copying, customizing (most of the time improving), and then put in the market for sale. Meizu(魅族)is actually a company that produces MP3/MP4/PMP (portable media player). Suddenly, they said they are producing a phone, MiniOne (or M8)! When they introduced this prototype, a lot of media calls it an iPhone-clone. Can't blame them, you could judge for yourself by looking at the picture.
Ah, don't forget I said "copy and customize (improve)", Meizu does put a lot of candies in this MiniOne: "4 to 16GB of internal storage and feature a 533MHz ARM11 core from Samsung, 128MB of DDR (yes, DDR) RAM, VGA front and 3 megapixel rear cams, Bluetooth, WiFi, DMB mobile television, and integrated GPS all wrapped up in a tight little Windows Mobile 6 package, 720 x 480 display and the 3G data, also TV OUT and LINE IN/OUT". And, that's not it. The acclaimed price tag for this piece of metal is 4GB/1499RMB, 8GB/2199RMB for the one without camera, and 4GB/2380RMB ,8GB/3080RMB for standard MiniOne. Now, 8GB 3080RMB is about 400 USD! Too good to be true, isn't it? There are two rumours, one said it will be out in the market in June/August this year, and the other one said it will be in the market around end of this year. So, we will see if Meizu can bypass the plausible lawsuit from Apple and make this available for consumers.

我老师今天也说"china is good at copying"
可是过去好多国家都是这样啊。
