May -- a busy yet satisfying month

May 2007 is the busiest month for me so far since I have come to Shanghai. Yeah, work is also getting heavier and busier. Friends' visit luckily just make everything more enjoyable, albeit a bit unmanageable sometimes. So, from end of April till mid of May, Freddie my very good friend from Netherlands and his lady friend Mirjam were here in Shanghai. Before her arrival, I have brought Freddie to Beijing and also Hangzhou. Of course, I have introduced him to a bunch of my dear friends here Shiau Hwee, Kathryn and Chew. I am glad they both enjoy Shanghai as much as I do. Then, one day after their departure, Ah Tee and Lee Koon dropped by. They went to Beijing the next day, and then back after 4D3N. We also went to Hangzhou, but this time Shiau Hwee (since she has been Hangzhou 7 times, and she is really someone who knows Shanghai like the back of her hand) took care of all the arrangement (HOW KIND IS SHE!). Everything went perfectly well, at least for me. Now, I need about a week to get back to my quiet routine, and probably there will be some lonely period to overcome. My trainer told me, do I have any more friends visiting? I told him, no, all my good friends were here already... Sounds sad, doesn't it? But, it is not the quantity but the quality that matters.

If they don't mind, they could use my place as their escape from the real life, anytime they want. Because, during their escape, it is also my own escape...
