Die hard is not really dead yet!

Those big action stars of my time, namely Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kurt Russell are all now old. Time really is a cruel thing. Now, Bruce Willis is also in his mid 50s (if I am not wrong). However, I am glad to see that time does not slow him down a bit in Die Hard 4.0 (or Live Free or Die Hard). After so many years of trying to die hard (Die Hard - 1988, Die Hard 2 - 1990, Die Hard with a Vengeance - 1995), it is still very entertaining to see this die-hard-but-never-die hero trying to save the world (or at least his wife or his daughter).

After the airport was sabotaged (Die Hard), a skyscraper was almost destroyed (Die Hard 2), and a city was almost blown off (Die Hard with a Vengeance), this time the whole country is in danger. It is nice to see that the movie is following the 21st century trend -- cyber and internet. So basically a crazy nut job who was pissed by his own employer (aka the CIA) for not accepting his idea that the country cyber security system is a big vulnerability trying to make a point while making some money by destroying the cyber security system by himself. And, this time our hero John McClane again at the wrong place at the wrong time. He was ordered simply to escort one hacker (Mathew Farrell, played by Justin Long) to FBI, who himself was on the hit list by that crazy nut job. So, the story went from there - bullet fired everywhere, car chase, explosion, some more car chase, some more explosion, some close combat, etc., those trademarks of the Die Hard franchise. Anyway, it is another entertaining movie which I don't mind seeing in the cinema! I like Bruce Willis for his Die Hard image. So, of course I would enjoy this movie very much.
